tim card is now no longer a charging card
To activate the charging at the car sharing location, a charging card can now be found in the card holder in the glove compartment!
Due to recurring problems with activating the charging at the car sharing charging stations, the charging situation is now changed. From now on, the new charging card must be used to activate the charging after returning the vehicle. This can be found in the card holder in the glove compartment. After activation, it is essential to put the card back in the holder.
The changeover also brings further benefits for customers:
- After registering online with tim, there is no longer any need to wait for the tim card to be sent, as the car can also be locked via the tim app and charging can be activated with the new card.
- With the new charging card, the carsharing vehicle can also be charged at many public charging stations during the booking time. You can find a detailed map in the app “Emobil-Ladestellen Energie Steiermark”. Download the app directly under the following link:
To activate a tim public charging station (öffentliches Laden) for a private vehicle, a compatible charging card of the charging card provider is required. The tim public charging points are operated by E-Steiermark (except of the charging points in Köfach/Voitsberg by the respective municipal utilities and in Stattegg by E-Werk-Franz).
