But please note that every vehicle only has a digital motorway toll sticker for Austria. You have to pay the fees for foreign motorways yourself. The A9 tunnel toll (for the Gleinalm and Bosruck tunnels) is included for all vehicles.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tim-oesterreich.at\/graz\/en\/faq\/can-i-only-use-e-carsharing-cars-and-rental-cars-locally\/\">mehr lesen&#8230;<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>How do I book a tim car?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Via our online<a href=\"https:\/\/app.tim-graz.at\/login\"> booking platform<\/a> or with your mobile phone via the app (here for iOS and here for the Google Play Store).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>How do I book my trip by date?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Select the desired location, either via the dropdown menu or via the location map, which you can open by clicking on the map icon. Please then select the desired location on the map.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you select &#8222;Normal booking&#8220; (\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Normale Buchung<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d), you must select the desired pick-up time and drop-off time. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alternatively, you can select a booking package by selecting &#8222;Booking Packages&#8220; (\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Buchungspakete<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Under vehicle type, you can see how many vehicles are available at the location you have chosen for the selected booking period. After entering it and selecting &#8222;x show vehicles&#8220; (\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">x Fahrzeuge anzeigen<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d), you can choose your vehicle.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You can now see which vehicles are available during your time period. Choose the vehicle of your choice to go to the final step of the booking process.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The last step shows you a summary of your booking. You can also see the estimated price for the booking. This price is calculated automatically based on the usage fee and the data you have entered during the booking process. <\/span>You can also specify the type of trip (private or business; \u201c<i style=\"font-size: 1em;letter-spacing: 0px\"><span>privat oder dienstlich<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d) here. Choosing business will make the \u201cDestination\u201d (\u201c<\/span><i style=\"font-size: 1em;letter-spacing: 0px\"><span>Fahrziel<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d) and \u201cPurpose\u201d (\u201c<\/span><i style=\"font-size: 1em;letter-spacing: 0px\"><span>Fahrzweck<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d) fields appear, which you need to fill in. In the &#8222;Personal notes&#8220; (\u201c<\/span><i style=\"font-size: 1em;letter-spacing: 0px\"><span>Pers\u00f6nliche Notiz<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d) field, you can save notes about your trip.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">By selecting &#8222;Complete booking&#8220; (\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Buchung abschlie\u00dfen<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d), your booking will be confirmed and you will be taken to your Home Screen where your current and upcoming bookings are displayed.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Can I return the tim car to a different location?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">No, please return your car to the same location from which you picked it up.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>How do I book my trip by vehicle?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When booking by vehicle, you can see all active vehicles, including their availability. By selecting the various filters, such as location\/vehicle type, you can tailor the vehicles displayed to your trip. You can see information for every vehicle including, among other things, how many seats it has, its transmission, its battery level and its availability for up to 48 hours from the date of your trip. Free vehicles are displayed in green, while unavailable ones are shown in red &#8211; each rectangle represents one hour.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Now choose your desired vehicle to bring up the departure time field. Again, the free time periods are displayed in green, while booked\/unavailable periods show up in red.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After picking your desired departure time, an overview of all the information pertaining to your booking is displayed. If needed, you can also enter the pick-up and return times, the estimated route and other information about the trip, such as personal notes or, if it is a business trip, the destination and purpose of the trip.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After clicking on &#8222;Complete booking&#8220; (\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Buchung abschlie\u00dfen<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d), your booking will be confirmed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As an alternative to the normal booking process, in which you choose your desired pick-up time, you can also choose from different booking packages. To do this, please select &#8222;Booking packages&#8220; (\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Buchungspakete<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d) during the first step of the booking process. This will show all available booking packages. After choosing a booking package and entering your desired date, all available vehicles will be displayed, just like with a normal booking.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After selecting the desired vehicle, the next step will take you back to the booking details. In contrast to a normal booking, you cannot edit the pick-up and drop-off times, as these are preset. After entering the estimated route and optional information, you can finalise the booking by hitting &#8222;Complete booking&#8220; (\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Buchung abschlie\u00dfen<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d). IMPORTANT: You must always return rental cars to the <\/span><b>tim<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> location with a full tank at your own expense.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you have rented an e-vehicle: plug the charging cable into the vehicle. Unlock the charging station using the charging card (glove compartment)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0and connect the charging cable to the charging station (for more information, see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tim-oesterreich.at\/graz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/05\/tim-handbook-2023.pdf\">manual<\/a>)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lock the vehicle with your <\/span><b>tim<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> card or the tim App<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Are there any discounts?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For customers who have <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0a KlimaTicket Austria or a KlimaTicket Steiermark, or a Top Ticket for students, and whose main place of residence is in Graz, the one-time registration fee and the monthly membership fees are waived, from the month following the purchase of the travel ticket, for the remaining time that the travel ticket is valid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This promotion is valid until further notice. The free membership ends as of the month the annual pass expires, at which point it becomes a paid membership with monthly fees. If you do not, the basic monthly fee will be applied.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Charging<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>How do I unplug the charging cable?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Unlock the vehicle and first unplug the charging cable from the vehicle and then from the charging station. If the charging cable cannot be unplugged, press the unlock button on the inside of the driver&#8217;s door or directly by the charging connector (Mercedes eVito). Unplug the cable from the vehicle and then from the charging station.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>How do I plug the charging cable in?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Plug the charging cable into the vehicle and log in at the charging station with<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1em;letter-spacing: 0px\"> the charging <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">card (see glove compartment). Then plug the charging cable firmly into the charging station and wait until a smiley face appears. If no smiley face appears, push the charging cable in a little harder. If you need more than 15 seconds for this, an error message will appear on the charging station\u2019s display. First, unlock the vehicle again, then remove the charging cable from the vehicle first before removing it from the charging station, plug the charging cable back into the vehicle, log in to the charging station with you the charging <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">card and then plug the charging cable firmly (!) into the charging station. If the smiley lights up, you\u2019ve done everything right. Please return the charging card to the glove compartment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>How do I charge the tim car?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>You can find the charging card in the glove compartment of every tim vehicle. Please note that the maximum charging time at all tim charging stations is 3 hours.
